Lim Chung Wei, a CFPCM practitioner, has more than 7 years of financial planning experience.


He has practised as a lawyer for more than 7 years and his scope of practice included probate, estate planning matters, general solicitor's work, commercial and criminal litigation & conveyancing.


He has written articles for the Asia Financial Planning Journal, Law Gazette and has been interviewed by  the New Paper, Today and television on financial planning matters.  He has conducted financial planning seminars/workshops for financial services professionals and the public. He has also conducted Ethics workshop for members of the Financial Planning Association of Singapore (FPAS). He has also participated as a panel discussion member in the 8th Asia Pacific Financial Planning Conference.

Lye Heng has over 8 years of experience in financial derivatives trading, structuring products and training financial professionals. In his career life, he has worked with IntesaBci S.p.A and United Overseas Bank. In United Overseas bank, he served in various capacities as proprietary trader of Derivatives Trading Division and Foreign Interest Rate Desk. As a derivative trader, he assisted in running an index option book whose notional value was in the range of 1 billion US dollars. And in the Foreign Interest Rate Desk, he set up an option trading book for government bond futures and also started trading on relative values for the bank's proprietary book.

After leaving UOB, Lye Heng was made principal derivative trader for the local branch of the largest Italian bank, IntesaBci S.p.A. In addition to taking proprietary positions on Stock Indices and Major Government Bonds, he is also the principal product structurer designing various financial products and solutions for the bank's customers. Over the years, Lye Heng has also trained extensively in Singapore. Among others, he conducted derivatives trading seminars for dealers and remisers in various stock broking houses to prepare them for the advent of stock index futures in MSCI Singapore Index and subsequently STI Index. He has also conducted Chartered Financial Analyst programs for Financial Training Company and Financial Perspectives Ltd over the last 4 years.

Nicholas Tay, a CFPCM practitioner, is a highly successful District Manager who manages one of the top agencies in American International Assurance Co. Ltd (AIA) with approximately 18 insurance advisors.

Being an ardent believer of financial planning, he has trained & developed a team of successful associates that provide financial planning services as a value added service to their clients.

Nicholas has qualified for numerous awards like Million Dollar Club, Superstar Club, MDRT, Pinnacle Agency Award (an award for agency that brings in more than $1 million of First Year Premium), the prestigious President Club and in 2001 was awarded the Top Regional Supervisor award.

Nicholas is a member of the Life Underwriter Association of Singapore (LUA) and General Agents & Managers Association (GAMA) Singapore Chapter

He regularly speaks at AIA in-house seminars and workshops on investments, financial planning, prospecting and agency management.

Prior to joining AIA as an insurance advisor, Nicholas was an auditor with Arthur Andersen.

He is a licensed appraiser since 1994. He has given lectures and tutorials at the National University of Singapore, Singapore Polytechnic and Singapore Institute of Surveyors and Valuers (Real Estate Agency Course). He was also invited to deliver papers in regional seminars in Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia on real estate related subjects.

Prior to his current role as a Financial Adviser Representative with Philips Securities, Raymond has extensive experience in positions relating to foreign exchange, options and money market trading. He was awarded the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 1998, and the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2001.

Samuel graduated with an honours degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and is a CFA® charterholder. He is a member of the AIMR and the Singapore Society of Financial Analysts. For a few years, he worked with a foreign bank as a foreign exchange dealer, where he was involved in various treasury products, such as FX, swaps and options. He was also a banking consultant with an international consulting firm.

Since 1997, Samuel has been working as a fund manager in an asset management company, managing a fixed income portfolio. He is also a member of the company's strategy team that helps in making currencies calls and asset allocation recommendations. Samuel is an experienced trainer and has, in the past year, been involved in CFA® material development. Both his accountancy and finance qualifications and work experiences provide a strong background to his teaching of the CFA® topic areas of financial statement analysis and asset valuation.
